Starbucks Session Road Baguio - Kim

Siguro naman you will agree with me na ang mga staff ng Starbucks Baguio are more courteous than any other Starbucks branches around Philippines?

Di mo to madalas makita sa ibang branches.

PBB Teens 4: Splitting the twins

PBB Teens 4: 8th Nomination Night

June 18, 2012

Tingnan nalang natin.

Tangal si Yves!

PBB Teens 4: 7th Nomination Night

Toni Gonzaga is out of the Country to watch the fight of Paquiao vs. Bradley, so Bianca Gonzalez is taking over. Kim Chiu is back in the house. She's really pretty. I love Kim.

Paolo Bediones' Review on Pacquiao's lost to Brandley

I'm really not interested in commenting how or why Manny Pacquiao lost to Timothy Bradley last June 9, 2012. Simply because there's a lot of articles about the issue and I am already accepting the fact that he lost the fight until I've read Paolo Bediones blog about the issue.

Social networking sites like twitter and facebook are battling the issue. Most of them believed that Pacquiao won.

According to Paolo Bediones:

Here are some "explanations" to why Manny "lost" the fight:

1. The curse of the 16th fight. After every streak of 15 wins that Manny has chalked up, he loses the 16th.

Loss to Rustico Torrecampo on February 9, 1996
Streak of 15 wins from April 27, 1996 to April 24, 1999
Loss to Medgoen Singsurat on September 17, 1999
Streak of 13 wins, 2 draws from December 18, 1999 to December 11, 2004
Loss to Erik Morales on March 19, 2005
Streak of 15 wins from September 10, 2005 to November 12, 2011
Loss to Timothy Bradley on June 9, 2012 (US)

2. Manny insisted on watching the Miami Heat - Boston Conference Finals

3. Manny became a devoted Christian

4. Boxing is a BUSINESS not a SPORT anymore

Interesting, isn't it? Thanks Paolo for the nice review. But whatever the result is, that's the prize of sports. we have to accept defeat.

What's your mix? - Bayo Clothing Controversy

What's your opinion on this picture?
The model above is Jasmine Curtis-Smith, younger sister of Anne Curtis-Smith. Their father is an Australian and their mother is a Filipino.

For me (my own opinion only, it wouldn't matter to you at all), I don't see the point of this being labeled as 'Racist'. This campaign of Bayo, a local clothing line, was criticized for releasing this campaign and petitioned to remove in all billboards across the metro.

Let's face it, most or if not, many of Filipinos has this so-called colonial mentality. I knew someone who doesn't appreciate Filipino Artists. Who doesn't appreciate Filipino Talents. He would just appreciate you if you give him gifts that are not made by his fellow Filipinos because he believes that it was done in a very poor quality. And I HATE him for that... a lot! Can you call it 'racist'? I always want to tell him, 'then go out the country and never go back'! But I don't have the license to judge him for that. From this situation alone, I cannot blame Bayo for this campaign. It's like showing to the world that we have good products if it is not made here (of course not applicable to all but still would be the thought). Filipinos love to buy goods that are 'imported'. Filipinos love to receive goods that are 'imported'. Would you appreciate more a handmade bags made by 'abaca' than a Louis Vuitton? I know that I should not compare those products simply because they're too far from each other. Exactly my point!

Why we can't just appreciate the fact that we have good products if are being mixed with other races?

Aren't you satisfied that the Bayo is still getting models who has a Filipino blood even just 20% of it? Unlike Bench for getting David Archuleta or Penshoppe for getting Zac Efron. Come on people, these are local clothing lines too.

I've read some blogs for this controversy and there are so many opinions for this matter. All of them are against for this campaign. Well, we have all our own opinion. I just hope you will also respect mine.

According to TV news, the Bayo management decided to remove and replace the said campaign.

Below are the rest of the models/campaigns:

Because of this, a lot of spoof came out just to lighten the mood of the Angry Filipinos.
