Gaya Sa Pelikula [2020]

Cast:
Ian Pangilinan as Jose Vladimir Austria
Paolo Pangilinan as Karl Frederick Almasen
Adrienne Vergara as Judit Austria

Written by: Juan Miguel Severo
Directed by: JP Habac

Actors and Story:

So, ano nalang ung "Stranger Things"? CLICK HERE to see the list of Stranger Things movie references.

Happy Birthday [2018]

May 31, 2020

Cast:

Actors and Story:
The saddest birthday to have when your own sister committed suicide on the day you were born. The "why's" would be your bestfriend.

No wonder Pluem won best supporting actor in this series because he is good. But my question is, why support? Isn't he the lead actor? I'm confused!

Favorite Character:
Tonmai played by Purim Rattanaruangwattana (Pluem)
Uncle Tai played by Sorapong Chatree - his character played more a real father. He love Thannam as his own.

Favorite Scene:
Episode 6, the reveal of Thannam's education. It's just sad to think that your own parents can't support you of having a dream to finish your studies without even trying. Why not try first before giving up?

Attracted To The Following Actors:
Purim Rattanaruangwattana (Pluem) as Tonmai

Puttichai Kasetsin (Push) as Tee

Plustor Pronpiphat Pattanasettanon (Plustor) as Tee [Young]

Who Are You [2020]

May 30, 2020

Cast:
Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom (Namtan) as Meennara (Meen)/Manita (Mind)
Perawat Sangpotirat (Krist) as Natee/Na
Kay Lertsittichai as Gunkan/Gun

Actors and Story:
My easy top series as of the moment. If this is just an adaptation of a Korean drama, then I must say, the original must be very good as well. I wish, the Korean version of this will be available in YouTube as well so that I could watch it.

The way they presented each episode is so exciting and it will make you want to watch the next episode right away. The next thing you know, you already watch the entire series without knowing it.

The actors are so good as well. Specially Tida (played by Ployshompoo Supasap a.k.a. Jan). You wanna slap her and drag her face to the mad to satisfy your hatred for her.

Favorite Character:
Gun (played by Kay Lertsittichai) - He's the kind of ally you want to be on your side. He'll protect you no matter what. He got family problem of his own but still very respectful to the people who shows support to him. He acts like a brat to his father but deep inside he just want his little attention. A simple dinner with him become a dream already.

Favorite Scene:
When Mind got back her memories and hug her adoptive Mom at the back. So heartbreaking to watch. Saying goodbye were never be easy.

My Bromance [2014]

May 29, 2020

Cast:
Teerapat Lohanan (Fluke) as Golf
Natouch Siripongthon (Fluke) as Bank

Actors and Story:
I can easily think of "Addicted (Heroin) series" in a different way simply because they're both product of a blended family. Although with a very different story because in "Addicted (Heroin)" they're more destined to each other, they fall in love first before they knew that they're part of the blended family while here in "My Bromance" the love for each other were developed over time.

Before knowing the actor, I really think that Bank looks like Fluke (Natouch Siripongthon) who played Pharm in "Until We Meet Again", only to find out that he really is Fluke. The heck. He looks very different back in the days. But still, his cuteness and acting skills made me cry for the second time. Good job.

Favorite Character:
Bank played by Natouch Siripongthon a.k.a. Fluke
Golf played by Teerapat Lohanan a.k.a. Fluke

Favorite Scene:
At the park on Bank's birthday.

Love’s Coming [2014]

May 28, 2020

Cast:
Suttinut Uengtrakul (Tee Mild) as Gump
Norrapat Sakulsong (Pak) as Nai
Korn Khunatipapisiri (Aujun) as Zee
Chanon Santinatornkul (Non) as Pid
Suraphat Kirivichien (Guy) as Arm

Actors and Story:
A group of high school boys suspected that Gump (played by Tee Mild) is in love or in a relationship with another boy. They set up with ways to prove the secret affair. Things got complicated when Nai (played by Pak)'s ex girlfriend showed up in the picture.

I really can't feel the chemistry of the two main actors, Tee Mild and Pak. I don't know why. I just can't feel them that they're in love. Bad acting skills or simply no chemistry, whatever it is, I'm just disappointed with the pairing.

Favorite Character:
Zee played by Korn Khunatipapisiri (Aujun)

Favorite Scene:
When Zee comforted Gump.

2 Moons: The Series [2017] | 2Moons2 [2019]

April 26, 2020

Cast:
Itthipat Thanit a.k.a. God [S1] & Benjamin Brasier [S2] as Phana Kongthanin (Doctor Pha)
Suradet Piniwat a.k.a. Bas [S1] & Teerapat Ruangritkul a.k.a. Earth [S2] as Wayo Panitchayasawad (Yo)

As I've understand with the series explanation, Moon is a male freshman activity in the Universe representing the faculty (or in the Philippines we call it college), and the opposite of "moon" is the "star". Each Faculty Moon and Faculty Star will compete to be the next "Campus Moon and Campus Star". The way I see, it's like a beauty pageant. You need to have good looks to be considered Faculty Moon and Faculty Star.

I love this series especially the lead actor of season 1, Bas (playing Wayo). I find him super cute and innocent. He's super fit with the role of Wayo.

Actors and Story:
Bas' character Wayo is so innocent that you'll find him super cute. His facial expressions are so expressive specially with the scenes shared with Pha. Bas really fit the role very much.

For me, the story doesn't feel like college in Season 1. It felt like I'm in High School and having a first crush, first puppy love, kilig moments when he look at you and being hurt when he's with somebody else specially if they were rumored lovers.

However, in Season 2, since they changed all the actors of the important characters, and they re-created all the important scenes in season 1 with 12 episodes and compressed it to 4 episodes only, it doesn't feel like high school anymore. Season 2 does felt like a freshman student at the University. Maybe because of the actors? I don't know. Just the feeling. Season 2 is more mature specially how they evolved the love story of Beam (played by Woranart Ratthanaphast a.k.a. Dome) and Forth (played by Naret Promphaopun a.k.a. Pavel)

Favorite Character:
Wayo (played by Suradet Piniwat a.k.a. Bas [S1])
Baramee Vongviphan (Beam) (played by Woranart Ratthanaphast a.k.a. Dome [S2])

Favorite Scene:
First kiss of Wayo and Pha in season 1. I really felt it as if it was also my first kiss too. All the feels are being felt on that specific scene. The best kiss I've ever seen on any series or even on movies.

Attracted To The Following Actors:
Suradet Piniwat a.k.a. Bas (played Wayo [S1])

Woranart Ratthanaphast a.k.a. Dome (played Beam [S2])

Thanapon Jarujitranon a.k.a. Tee (played Beam [S1])

Oops, of course with a little help from household help and family members.

Actors and Story:
Hands down!

Or should I say, kung may love man, man nangingibabaw ung masamang pangyayari kesa love.

Ang mahalaga na-entertain ako at very satisfied.

Favorite Character:
Darren (played by Tony Labrusca)
Bukod nakaka distract ang kapogian nya, parang ramdam mo ung totoo ung bitaw ng salita nya.

Of course, Tony Labrusca! Wala ng iba.

I can consider this as my first ever BL Series that I've completed the entire season 1.

I'm hooked to BL Series already because of "2gether The Series", so, I've asked around what next series to watch should be and this series came out on top.

Actors and Story:

To start, I don't hate it but I also don't like it. I get it, they have followers. You can see the views each episodes. It's just that the acting was lame. I'm sorry but, it was so lame. Special mention the last episode during confrontations with Lhong (played by Kittipat Kaewcharoen a.k.a. Kaownah). Gosh, so cringey.

There were major factors that is questionable to me and against my principle and I was looking for better reason why they just wanna let it go away like the rape crime. That's it, just a punch? Then walk away? The heck?!

The topic is so deep. The drama is very heavy for me. No matter how heavy the drama be, I think I've cried for a couple of times only.

And a lot of kissing and sex. No wonder it is very popular. But I love the kissing part. They look very comfortable to each other. And it really feels like they're really together and kissing each other is part of their life.

Favorite Character:

My favorite would be Techno (played by Suttinut Uengtrakul a.k.a. Mild). A good friend and funny.

2gether The Series [2020]

April 17, 2020

Cast:

Metawin Opas-iamkajorn (Win) as Tine

Vachirawit Chiva-aree (Bright) as Sarawat

The first ever BL (Boys Love) Series I've watched was "2 Moons 2 The Series" in 2019 but I don't have the luxury of time to complete the series, so I stopped.

When the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila will be under Enhanced Community Quarantine due to Covid19 pandemic, and all work were suspended, unless you're a frontliners, I now have a lot of time in my life just to do nothing but binge watch YouTube. I used to watch quarantine vlogs until one Friday night, my twitter feed was filled with "2gether The Series". My nosy self, tried to check what's this hype all about.

Starting from first episode, til at end of the day, I already finished the first 9th out of 13th episodes. The remaining 4 episodes, I need to wait another 4 Fridays. I hate waiting, but I guess, this time, I don't have the choice because obviously I got hooked. Duh 🙄, who doesn't like Sarawat (played by Vachirawit Chiva-aree a.k.a. Bright).

At first, I have no idea that Thailand's BL Series has this big audience in the Philippines 🇵🇭. But now, I do and I've become one of them.

Actors and Story:

You'll definitely easily fall in love with the actors of this series specially the leads. They're both handsomely attractive. You'll be easily glued to whatever device you're watching by simply staring at their faces (or should I say, I'm describing myself here because that's exactly what happened to me).

The story is not so complicated. Very light. That's what I like the most about it. Funny and most of all, dreamy. You know, you can always wish that you are Tine. You wanna be stared at by Sarawat all day. Or maybe, in my case, I wanna be Sarawat, and stare at Tine's innocent look and precious smile all the time.

Favorite Character:

My personal favorite would have to be Tine (played by Metawin Opas-iamkajorn a.k.a. Win). His character is very innocent and charming. I'm always attractive to cute boys with fair skin and petite or at least 5'6" and below height but definitely Win is an exception. He's towering 6ft. The heck?! Whatever! He's cute. That's what matters.

Attracted To The Following Actors:

Of course, Win and Bright

Chayakorn Jutamat (JJ) as Ohm (Tine's Friend)

Thanatsaran Samthonglai (Frank) as Phukong (Sarawat's Younger Brother)
