Cast:
Julia Roberts as Isabel Pullman
Owen Wilson as Nate Pullman
Jacob Tremblay as August "Auggie" Pullman
Izabela Vidovic as Olivia "Via" Pullman
Mandy Patinkin as Mr. Tushman
Daveed Diggs as Mr. Browne
Noah Jupe as Jack Will
Danielle Rose Russell as Miranda

This movie is full of love. Different kinds of love. Unconditional love to the children. Love of friendship. Although the message of the movie is about facing the world no matter how cruel it is.

Why am I crying while writing this? I have no idea. I can't say that I can relate to this movie because I am nothing to compare to the characters that were being portrayed. But one thing is for sure, I can feel the love and most specially the pain and the struggle of having different looking person, the worst thing, being called freak. This is, to this date, the movie and made me cry even after the show, even just reading the plot. I can imagine everything already. The scenes, the emotions. Wow! Just wow! I can't understand why. I just can't explain how I feel.

Auggie
August "Auggie" Pullman was born with an extremely rare medical facial deformity which he refers to as "mandibulofacial dysostosis", which is likely Treacher Collins syndrome. Accordingly, this is a genetic disorder characterized by deformities of the ears, eyes, cheekbones, and chin. He's been too many surgery operations to survive.

He may be unfortunate to have facial deformity, that the world would be easily be judged by how he looked differently from their so-called-normal but he’s lucky enough to have loving family who loves him unconditionally and willing to take risk of exposing him to cruel world even deep inside they’re scared that he cannot handle cruelty. They believe that is the best and rightful way.

Via
She's the eldest sister of Auggie. She's expected to understand that he's brother needs more attention than she is but deep inside, she's hurting and longing for her parents' attention. The only person that she trusted and thinks she can rely on is her bestfriend Miranda. But after Miranda attended one summer camp, she avoided her without knowing the reasons.

Miranda
The estrange bestfriend of Via since kindergarten. Her family sucks. Her parents got divorced and her mother became dependent with alcohol.

What happened during summer camp that changes their BFF status to estrange, I don't know if it is understandable but to be honest, I can feel her.

This is really sucks! I write this for the purpose of documenting what I felt about the movie but my tears keeps on falling down, I can't understand why. This is the exact feeling why I also can't understand why watching the movie is so painful for me, while in fact, you can laugh every now and then because of the humor of the characters like Auggie.

Favorite Quote (too many to mention though)
I cannot quote exactly what Summer (Auggie's friend) said, but she basically said, if she's to choose doing the right thing or kind, she'll choose kind.

I can safely say, that this is now my favorite movie, surpassing 'That Thing Called Tadhana'.

I'm afraid of dogs, but I think, Daisy is an exception.

Murder on the Orient Express [2017]

December 01, 2017
Shang Cineplex, Cinema 2, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City

Cast:
Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot
Penélope Cruz as Pilar Estravados
Willem Dafoe as Gerhard Hardman
Judi Dench as Princess Dragomiroff
Johnny Depp as Samuel Ratchett
Josh Gad as Hector MacQueen
Derek Jacobi as Edward Henry Masterman
Leslie Odom Jr. as Dr. Arbuthnot
Michelle Pfeiffer as Caroline Hubbard

This movie is all about solving a crime happened on the train, Orient Express. For me, It's like I'm watching a crime investigation series like 'Stalker' or 'CSI' but boring version. Don't get me wrong, this is a stellar cast with different culture representation. But that's it. Nothing more interesting. If you guess who commit the crime, you might guested it right but maybe, you'll be surprised with the revelation at the end of the movie (not unless you've read the book already, then you knew the story, I could imagine how more boring that would be).

To my surprise, I didn't sleep the entire movie, knowing that I was very tired that day. Then maybe it's not boring at all. I just didn't like it.

Inis Ako Sa'yo, Bes!

November 22, 2017

Hindi ko maintindihan bakit minsan may mga bagay tayong kinaiinisan na wala namang ginagawang masama sayo.

Before: TY, TY
Tulad nalang halimbawa itong nararamdaman ko. Dati, naiinis ako sa isang tao dahil sa expression nyang "T.Y., T.Y." kc to be honest, there's nothing wrong with what she said. Anong masama sa "T.Y. T.Y."? Wala diba? In fact, positive pa nga un eh kc ang ibig sabihin ng "T.Y." ay "Thank You".

Now: Giggling

What the heck?!

Thor: Ragnarok vs Justice League [2017]

November 17, 2017

I couldn't help it but compare these two gigantic mortal comic characters that became also a movie enemies, that being released this year 2017, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League.

Thor: Ragnarok was for me, better in terms of humor and entertainment. And even in action and visual effects. Justice League however, better in, I don't know.. League? Allegiance?

Come on, they have Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), who else are you looking for?

What do you think? Have you seen the two movies yet?

Return of Checks with Technical Defects

I still don't get why people can't follow these simple steps:

1. Complete details and accurate (Check Date, Payee Name, Amount in Figures, Amount in Words, Signature/s of Drawer/s)
2. Ensure that the check is currently dated
3. Use only black or blue in when writing on the check
4. Ensure that there are no erasures on the check.

Night Clubs Are Definitely Not For Everybody

June 15, 2017
Valkyrie Night Club
Uptown Bonifacio Showroom, 36 9th Avenue corner, Taguig, Metro Manila

I never been to any night clubs before. My idea of a night clubs are those I've seen on movies. That's all of it. Sounds cool and fun. So when I saw Arvin's invitation on Instagram, who offered free entrance with unlimited free drinks until 12 midnight, I grabbed it for the sake of experience.

To be honest, I'm not into loud music, even mingling with people but I'm willing to explore everything including all kinds of alcoholic drinks. Since it's for free, I need to taste everything they'll offer. For that, it was heaven. The drinks were good. Plus nice music. But since I'm not into loud music, I got bored. Worse part, I got no one to talk to. Oh, don't get me wrong, I have companion upon entering the venue, by the way, but because he's cute so 2 gays were hitting on him and later on, he's with them already. Awtz! That goes to show that I'm not good in keeping people to be on my side even just for a night. Sucks right? I know!

Despite for everything, I can honestly tell that going out to this kind of place is not for everybody. Looks fun, of course, this is the main reason why this place was created to have fun, but it's just not my thing. #BoringPerson

Filipino Tongue Twisters with Bretman Rock

October 16, 2017

This video of Cosmopolitan Philippines was posted on December 22, 2016 but still I enjoyed watching it over an over again.

Maybe because even I, can't pronounce those tongue twiters. It's just funny to watch. Sometimes I practice these too. Hahaha

So I made an screenshots for you to practice too.

PHP1.2M or USD23,000.00 Bill?

October 12, 2017

What would you do if you go out at night with couple of friends and your bill went to as much as PHP1.2M?

In the first place where this question came from? This is because of the recent facebook post from a guy (which was deleted later, so I guess I should not mention his name) with a total of 22 people went out for a drinking session, whose bill reached to a total of PHP1,199,855.36 which as of the moment, according to google conversion is USD23,336.68.

If I'm rich then is just nothing to me. So I don't be bothered. But if I'm poor, then why I'm here? Of course, they came here for fun and enjoy life to the fullest and the figures speaks for itself. If you didn't enjoy after that night then for sure, that night would be a hell of a nightmare.

How about you? What do you think?

White Girl [2016]

July 30, 2017

Starring: Morgan Saylor, Brian Marc

Gosh! What the.. What to like about this movie? Sex? Oh yeah, this is almost next to porn movies. You can already see the d*ck being sucked. Although I've waited to see Brian Marc's d*ck too but end up to disappointment. You can't even see him shirtless.

This movie is full of drugs and sex. Sexy? Oh yes, no doubt, hot but that's it. Nothing more. Waste of money if ever I've watched it in the movie house. Good thing Netflix has it. I only wasted my time.

To The Bone [2017]

July 30, 2017

Starring: Lily Collins, Keanu Reeves

I honestly couldn't understand the movie. Simply because I couldn't relate to Ellen/Eli. Her struggle or trouble in eating is kinda no sense to me because I don't have those kind of disorder. But the way they tell the story, is kinda painful to watch.

Family problem is what makes her more vulnerable but deep inside she knew that they're just there who loves her no matter what and they only wants her to be better even though her father is no show to support.

I don't like this movie. Maybe because it didn't tell how this illness started. Is this can be avoided?

Unfaithful [2002]

July 28, 2017

Starring: Richard Gere, Diane Lane, Olivier Martinez

Clearly this is very late for me to talk about this movie but heller, first time ko palang tong napanood, thanks to Netflix. Maganda naman lalo na ung mga bed scenes. Sobrang hot. Ung sa cafe ang pinaka hot.

I'm gay and I'm not attracted to a woman pero this movie napapatitig talaga ako kay Connie Sumner (Diane Lane). I don't know maybe because of Paul Martel (Olivier Martinez). But to be honest, hindi ako attracted kay Paul. Strange. Whatever.

I'm just disappointed that he getaway with the murder. What more disappointing is that this is really happening in real life. People who commit crimes can getaway with it, worse, ibang tao pa makukulong.

But acting wise, Lane deserves all the recognition. Napaniwala talaga nya ako acting nya.
