I can consider this as my first ever BL Series that I've completed the entire season 1.

I'm hooked to BL Series already because of "2gether The Series", so, I've asked around what next series to watch should be and this series came out on top.

Actors and Story:

To start, I don't hate it but I also don't like it. I get it, they have followers. You can see the views each episodes. It's just that the acting was lame. I'm sorry but, it was so lame. Special mention the last episode during confrontations with Lhong (played by Kittipat Kaewcharoen a.k.a. Kaownah). Gosh, so cringey.

There were major factors that is questionable to me and against my principle and I was looking for better reason why they just wanna let it go away like the rape crime. That's it, just a punch? Then walk away? The heck?!

The topic is so deep. The drama is very heavy for me. No matter how heavy the drama be, I think I've cried for a couple of times only.

And a lot of kissing and sex. No wonder it is very popular. But I love the kissing part. They look very comfortable to each other. And it really feels like they're really together and kissing each other is part of their life.

Favorite Character:

My favorite would be Techno (played by Suttinut Uengtrakul a.k.a. Mild). A good friend and funny.

2gether The Series [2020]

The first ever BL (Boys Love) Series I've watched was "2 Moons 2 The Series" in 2019 but I don't have the luxury of time to complete the series, so I stopped.

When the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila will be under Enhanced Community Quarantine due to Covid19 pandemic, and all work were suspended, unless you're a frontliners, I now have a lot of time in my life just to do nothing but binge watch YouTube. I used to watch quarantine vlogs until one Friday night, my twitter feed was filled with "2gether The Series". My nosy self, tried to check what's this hype all about.

Starting from first episode, til at end of the day, I already finished the first 9th out of 13th episodes. The remaining 4 episodes, I need to wait another 4 Fridays. I hate waiting, but I guess, this time, I don't have the choice because obviously I got hooked. Duh 🙄, who doesn't like Sarawat (played by Vachirawit Chiva-aree a.k.a. Bright). 

At first, I have no idea that Thailand's BL Series has this big audience in the Philippines 🇵🇭. But now, I do and I've become one of them.

Actors and Story:

You'll definitely easily fall in love with the actors of this series specially the leads. They're both handsomely attractive. You'll be easily glued to whatever device you're watching by simply staring at their faces (or should I say, I'm describing myself here because that's exactly what happened to me).

The story is not so complicated. Very light. That's what I like the most about it. Funny and most of all, dreamy. You know, you can always wish that you are Tine. You wanna be stared at by Sarawat all day. Or maybe, in my case, I wanna be Sarawat, and stare at Tine's innocent look and precious smile all the time.

Favorite Character:

My personal favorite would have to be Tine (played by Metawin Opas-iamkajorn a.k.a. Win). His character is very innocent and charming. I'm always attractive to cute boys with fair skin and petite or at least 5'6" and below height but definitely Win is an exception. He's towering 6ft. The heck?! Whatever! He's cute. That's what matters.

Gusto ko ung mga movie na romantic-comedy pero parang exception to. Maybe di ko gusto ang cast plus di ko gusto ang story. Maybe kc hindi focus ang story. Ang kalat at ang daming topic na ewan. Andaming tao na walang impact. Hayz.. Lame acting. Natuwa lang ako noong nakita ko na isa si Jacob Batalon kya ko to pinanood.

Verdict:

Boring movie. Not my cup of tea!

Watch it on Netflix baka magustuhan mo! Tandaan, magkaiba tyo ng gusto kya maaring di ko to gusto pero baka magustuhan mo pala.

Fractured [2019]

Actors and Story:

Grabe, parang nabaliw ako sa movie na to. Ang hirap talaga maghanap ng katutuhanan kung wala kang kakampi sa paligid lalo na kung meron kang history na pagiging lasinggo. Ang galing lang talaga ng plot twist. Hanggang ngayon, hangover padin ako dito.

Verdict:

Ang ganda kc madadali ka sa plot twist. Mapatunganga ka nalang. A day after, nakanganga padin bibig ko sa ending. Kainis! Ganun sya kaganda. Kaso ang hindi ko lang gusto, hindi man lang naparusahan para sa mga namatay na characters.

Ratings: ★★★★☆

I wonder kung bakit to kumita. Hmmmm.. Ang pangit ng storyline. Kung sa sinehan ko to napanood baka nagsisi ako paglabas. Buti nalang sa Netflix ko lang to napanood. Okay naman pampalipas oras. Pero isa lang masasabi ko, ang ganda ng shots. Lalo na ung sa mga shots sa bangka, ang astig talaga ng mga shots na un. 

Verdict:

Maganda lang ung shots. Un lang. Ang latoy ng istorya at mga eksena. Tapos ung nakita lahat ng bangkay? Paano nangyari un? Pumasok nalang lahat sa bahay ang mga bangkay, ganun? Ang labo.

Meet Me in St. Gallen [2018]

Actors and Story:

Para sa akin, may mga eksena na ramdam mong umarte lang tlga sila. Ang ibig kong sabihin na, pinilit ibato ang lines o kya naasiwa ako sa acting. In short, hindi ako convinced. Then some parts are extremely natural as if they're just really talking to a stranger that will make you smile and wonder if is it really possible. If it is, I'd like to experience it as well.

Tsaka, parang inuutusan ako ng movie na to na manood ng isa pang movie na "Celeste and Jesse Forever". Kya hinanap ko ngaun sa Netflix, wala naman, kya, sorry nalang ako.

Verdict:

Maganda sana kaso ayaw ko sa plot. Parang ang weird lang kasi isipin na nag-aantayan ung mga characters sa isa't isa, yet noong naging bakante na ang isa, ung isa naman ang hindi pwede. Mahal nila ang isa't isa kaso ayaw naman nilang ipaglaban.

SPOILER ALERT: For the entire movie, 3 beses lang silang nagkita with years of gap! Kaloka!

Wait, na-mention ko ba na sobrang gwapo ni Carlo dito? Alam kong gwapo na sya dati pa pero parang mapatitig ka sa kanya dito eh. Ung tipong didikit mata mo sa mga ngiti nya. Sa mga labi nya. Ewan. Panoorin nyo na nga lang kung pareho ba tayong maramdaman. LOL! Basta, sobrang gwapo ni Carlo dito. Maiba lang. Hahaha

The Story/Actors:

Gosh, ito na yata ung pinaka-nakakautas panoorin na movie. Ung tipong mapapamura ka kung bakit ka napasok sa sinehan. Kc sa sobrang classic ng mga jokes, di ko alam kung matatawa ako o maiinis. Siguro ung nagustuhan ko lang sa buong movie, ay ung sinasakal ni Janno si Andrew E. kc ung gumanap na flashback sa kanya ay si Julian Trono. Un lang, then the rest is just a full of waste of time.

Ang lame ng story line. Ang bobobo ng mga characters. Ung tipong, siguro sa panahon noon, nakakatawa un, pero sa panahon ngaun, nakakabagot na. Ung tipong mapapatakip ka nalang sa mukha, "ano ba tong napanood ko?"

Verdict:

Nakakasising panoorin kung sanay ka manood ng mga meron may sense na comedy pero kung oldies ka ang mahilig sa classic movies, palagay ko swak to sayo. Buti nalang mura ung sine sa Zamboanga kya hindi masyadong masakit sa bulsa.
